Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Tim Haller
Beethovenstraße 9
64347 Griesheim
Deutschland
Email: mail@timhaller.de

No data protection officer has been appointed, as the legal requirements for doing so (§ 38 BDSG) are not met.

2. Principle

The tools offered on rellit.de and its subdomains are static web pages without user accounts, without a contact form, and without any analytics or advertising services. No cookies are set, no content is loaded from third-party servers (e.g. fonts, CDNs, maps, videos), and no data is passed on to third parties. Beyond what is technically unavoidable when a web page is requested (see section 4), no personal data about you is collected.

3. Processing of your input

Everything you enter into one of the tools – text, file contents, keys, tokens – is processed exclusively locally in your browser. This data is not transmitted to our servers and is therefore neither stored, logged, nor analysed there. It never leaves your device. If an individual tool ever deviates from this, it is explicitly noted on that tool's page.

4. Server log files

When you access this website, your browser necessarily transmits technical data that our web server records in so-called log files. These are:

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically flawless, secure, and stable operation of the website as well as in preventing and investigating attacks. This data is not combined with other data sources and is not evaluated for marketing or analytics purposes. Log files are deleted automatically after 7 days, unless they are exceptionally required for longer to investigate a specific security incident.

5. Server operation and infrastructure

This website is not run by a web hosting service provider. It operates on a virtual server (vServer) administered by the controller named in section 1. The log files described in section 4 are processed exclusively on that server. They are neither passed on to nor evaluated by third parties.

The underlying infrastructure – data centre, network connectivity and virtualisation – is provided by the following company, based in Germany:

ispOne business GmbH
Weißdornweg 3, 77955 Ettenheim

This provider does not process the data for its own purposes. Because technical access to a virtual server cannot be entirely ruled out by design, the provider is treated as a processor under data protection law. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is being concluded with them, ensuring confidential processing strictly on our instructions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in reliably and securely providing the website.

6. Storage of settings in your browser

We do not use cookies. So that your settings are preserved for your next visit, we store them in your browser's localStorage – a local store whose contents, unlike cookies, are not sent to the server with every page request. Specifically:

These entries are only created once you actively change a setting – merely visiting a page stores nothing. They contain no personal data, do not allow recognition across websites, and are not transmitted to us or to third parties. Because they serve solely to provide the service you explicitly requested in the presentation you chose, storing them is permitted without consent under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. You can delete them at any time via your browser settings ("clear site data"); the tools will continue to work but will start again with their default settings.

7. No cookies, no tracking, no external services

This website uses no analytics or tracking services, no advertising networks, no social media plug-ins, and no external fonts or content delivery networks. All resources (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, icons) are served from our own server. As a result, loading the page establishes no connection to third-party servers and transmits your IP address to no third party.

8. External links

Our pages contain occasional links to external websites (e.g. to the EU online dispute resolution platform). These are only accessed when you click them. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the linked pages; their privacy policy applies.

9. Contacting us by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details (email address, name, content of your message) exclusively to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries), or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries. We delete this data as soon as your request has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods apply.

10. Encryption

This website is delivered exclusively over a TLS-encrypted connection (HTTPS). Data transmitted between your browser and our server is therefore protected against interception by third parties.

11. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

An informal message to mail@timhaller.de is sufficient to exercise them. Please note that we can only respond to requests to the extent that we hold any data about you at all – which, for a mere site visit, is generally not the case.

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint: Irrespective of the above, under Art. 77 GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

12. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

13. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy whenever changes to the website or to the legal situation make it necessary. The current version is always available on this page. Operator details can be found in the imprint.
